JSS Medical College PG Admissions 2022

JSS Medical also offers MD, MS and Diploma degree at the PG level under various specializations in Medicine. A candidate applying for these courses must have completed the MBBS degree. Application process for these PG level courses start by the end of March month and admission to all these courses are based on the performance of the candidates at COMEDK PGET score.

• The shortlisted candidates are then invited for counselling at the college.
• The applicants must have obtained a permanent registration of any State Medical Council

COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) is a state level medical entrance examination but is open for all India candidates. This test acts as the gateway to the the PG courses like MD / MS / MDS.

JSS Medical College also gives an opportunity for research in the field of medicine under three different specializations - Anatomy, Biochemistry and Microbiology. For admission to these courses, the candidates need to appear for an entrance test and candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance test are invited for interview at the college.

Key Points:

• The MBBS candidates should have at least two years of teaching experience or should have published at least two research papers in reputed or peer reviewed journals in the pre-clinical or para-clinical subjects, viz., Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-chemistry, Bio-physics, Bio-statistics, Bio-medical engineering., Bio-technology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Hospital Administration and Medical genetics
• In case of clinical subjects only those candidates possessing M.D, M.S., D.M., M.h or any equivalent degree after M.B.B.S are eligible

• A candidate is required to download the prescribed application form from the university’s official website
• The downloaded and printed application form should be sent along with a processing fee of Rs. 3,000/- only by way of DD favouring “JSS UNIVERSITY FEE ACCOUNT”, MYSORE, payable at Mysore
