Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 2003. It is located near Chromepet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college is one of the premier institutions in Chennai to produce excellent and committed doctors ready to work under any circumstances.  The college is affiliated to one of the well-known Bharat University under the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers various Undergraduate and post-graduate courses including MBBS and M.D/M.S courses in more than 25+ departments of medical sciences. The Admission to this college is based on the results of NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) exam. The option available to apply for all these UG and PG courses is available offline & online as well. Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), Chennai was established in 2004. Balaji Medical College is affiliated to BIHER Chennai. The college offers MBBS and B.Sc. (AHS) programs at UG level and MD, MS, DM & M.Ch courses at PG level.

• Admission to MBBS program is offered on the basis of marks in NEET UG followed by counselling conducted by Directorate General of Health Sciences, New Delhi.
• The minimum eligibility for MBBS is 10+2 in PCB with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST and OBC categories) and English as the main subject.
• Admission to B.Sc. in Allied Health Science is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. 
• MBBS degree is a must for MD & MS programs. Admission is granted on the basis of score in NEET PG followed by counselling.
• Admission to M.Ch and DM is based on the valid score in NEET SS.

Admission is completely based on the Entrance Exam commonly known as All India Common Entrance Examination ( AICEE ). 

• Admission to the undergraduate courses begins just after the declaration of results of Class 12.
• Admission to all the post-graduation courses starts after the declaration of results of all undergraduate courses.

The option available to apply for all these UG and PG courses is offline & online as well. An individual can apply through the application form available at the college campus. The cost of the application form is 500 Rs. One can also apply By Post from the registrar on requisition with a DD of 600 Rs.
