Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), a premier private university and a deemed university under section 3 of the UGC Act, has announced the dates for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024. The exam will be conducted from April 19 to April 30, 2024. The last date for submitting the application form is March 30, 2024. VITEEE 2024 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode at designated centers across India and abroad. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates can appear only once for VITEEE. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with one mark for each correct answer and zero marks for wrong answers.

• November 1, 2023: VITEEE 2024 registration starts
• March 30, 2024: Last date to submit VITEEE 2024 application form
• April 19-30, 2024: VITEEE 2024 exam dates
• May 3, 2024: VITEEE 2024 result declaration (tentative)
• To be announced: VITEEE 2024 counselling dates

Eligibility for VITEEE 2024:

• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology subjects.
• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2024 are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for VITEEE 2024:

• Candidates can apply online at the official VITEEE website https://viteee.vit.ac.in/
• The registration fee for VITEEE 2024 is ₹1800/- for Indian nationals and US$50/- for NRI/Foreign nationals.

Selection Process:

• Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on their VITEEE 2024 rank.
• Counselling will be conducted at designated centers across India.
• Candidates will be allocated seats to VIT campuses based on their rank, preferences, and availability of seats.
