The campus of NIT Jalandhar covers 154 acres. It is surrounded by a green belt, has a range of topographical characteristics, and a variety of building styles in addition to wide, well-kept roads. In 2019, ISRO launched its space incubation facility at NIT Jalandhar. Located on the G T Road Bypass, NIT Jalandhar is 15 km from the bus terminal, 12 km from the city rail station, and 18 km from Jalandhar Cantt. Walking distance is half a km to the Bidhipur railway crossing.
