Yes, NIT Srinagar refunds INR 3,000 if a student withdraws their admission before the start of the academic session. However, there is a non-refundable processing fee of INR 3,000. If a student gives up their seat to another institute, NIT Srinagar will refund the acceptance fee after deducting a minimum processing fee. The student will receive a proportionate refund of the fee if they surrender their seat after the start of classes. However, they are not eligible for a refund if a seat remains vacant.
