About College

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT) is an autonomous private engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is approved by the AICTE,
New Delhi and was started in the year 2001 and college to be associated with the VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University). It offers undergraduate and
postgraduate courses in the discipline of Engineering & Technology and Management.
There are about 10,000 students and 3500 employees at NITTE. All the institutions maintained by the Trust have excellent infrastructural
facilities such as experienced and dedicated faculty, spacious classrooms, laboratories and libraries. NET (Nitte Education Trust) was founded in the year 1979.
There are about 34 Institutions including a Deemed University under the banner of NET. Some of these institutions are:

Admission Criteria

• Passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
• In case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other Backward Classes - the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility will be
• 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
