Vellore Institute of Technology [VIT], recognized as an Institution of Eminence by the Government of India is a premier institute located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The placement cell (PAT) in VIT plays an integral role in creating the record placements VIT boasts of every year. The campus placement process starts in January every year. A training session takes place in February and placements start in July. VIT classifies its placements as Super Dream, Dream offers and internships. The placement cell also provides internships for students in their final year.
