Belagavi and later became an autonomous college under VTU. The college was established as PES University in 2013 and renamed as PES University,
Ring Road Campus. PES University offers admission in all UG, PG and Doctoral Courses. Admission to the University is mainly based on entrance exam.
There are various national exams that are accepted by the University such as JEE Main, CAT, GATE, KCET, etc. for all the courses that are offered at different levels.
The University has its own in-house entrance exam that is PESSAT which is the main selection process for most of the UG courses.
Their hostels on the campus offer well-ventilated, comfortable rooms stringent, round-the-clock security arrangements and a doctor on call service that all student needs are attended to.
