Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is a private engineering and research institute, established in 1983 under the affiliation of the University of Mumbai. TSEC is popularly known for offering various courses like B.E, and Ph.D. Admission procedures for all these above-mentioned programs are done through the national level or state level entrance exams such as JEE Main and MHTCET. The application process at TSEC is conducted online only. 

In the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2021, the college has been ranked among the rank band of 251-300. Also, TSEC has achieved the highest number of placements offered for the CSE branch candidates in the year 2021 with a placement rate of 86.96%, and an average salary offered to the students at TSEC stood at INR 10 LPA. TSEC Admission

Admission to the college is entirely entrance based. The application for the same will be available online. 

How to apply?

• Apply and clear common entrance exams like JEE, MHT-CET, or GATE depending on the course.
• Collect the admission kit from the college office after paying the application processing fees.
• Submit the filled data sheet available in the kit along with the required documents before the due date.
• Check the merit list displayed on the college website and report to the authorities immediately in case of any issues.
• If you are on the merit list, attend the admission rounds as per the dates mentioned by the college.
• Pay admission fees to secure your seat.
• Every eligible candidate must obtain the Admission kit from the TSEC Office after payment of the application processing fees.
• After obtaining the admission kit, the candidate needs to submit the completely filled datasheet along with a set of self-attested photocopy of all relevant documents and a photocopy of the duly filled datasheet to the college on or before the date of final submission as mentioned in the schedule on the college website.
• A merit list of all eligible candidates will be displayed on the college website as well as on the college premises, as per the details given in the schedule from time to time.

TSEC Faculty 

TCES has an incredible faculty team of highly qualified and skilled professionals who aim to provide students with appropriate skill quality and world-class education facilities. Currently, there are more than 100 faculties at TSEC consisting of Head, Associate professors, and assistant professors.

Around 70-80% of faculty members at TSEC are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields of research and education from the prestigious Engineering and Technology Institutes of India and abroad.
