NMIMS is deemed to be a University owning 17 specialized schools, more than 17000 students, and 750 plus full-time faculty members. The College offers a vast array of PG and Doctoral programs in Management studies such as MBA, E-MBA, PGDM, PhD along with a few UG, Diploma, and PG diploma programs.  Known for its MBA/PGDM program, the NMIMS Mumbai is AICTE accredited and has been ranked 25 by NIRF in 2022 in management category. NMIMS Mumbai programs are nationally and internationally accredited by NBA, NAAC, AMBA, SAQS and Bureau of Indian Standards. The Business School continues to attract applications in excess of 60,000 for a capacity of 860 MBA seats. 

NMIMS Mumbai offers admission to 179 Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programs for the young go-getters. The College accepts the scores of NMIMS CET / NPAT / NMAT/CLAT-NMIMS LAT for its distinguished UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs. 

The institute has completed its placement drive for the year 2021-22 whereby the Highest CTC stood INR 57.65 LPA whereas the Average CTC stood at INR 23.07 LPA. The highest salary increased by 66.04% compared to the previous year. There was a participation of 150+ recruiters. • Intake: NMIMS-SBM, Mumbai offers an MBA with an intake of 600 students for a specific session. Apart from this, The key management programs with an intake of 60 to 120 students are offered at NMIMS Navi Mumbai campus.

NMIMS Mumbai Admission Process

Final year students appearing in bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for NMIMS MBA/PGDM Admission 2022.

Selection Criteria NMIMS MBA 

• The selection of shortlisted students for its MBA Program is done primarily through the NMIMS NMAT exam. The Application fee to apply for the NMAT exam is INR 2200/-
• The second stage of the NMAT selection process includes a Written Ability Test which will be conducted in an online mode this year. For the WAT and PI round the institute will use the Zoom platform and the candidates will be writing their exams in Google doc forms.
• Candidates having two and more years of post-qualification work experience will be preferred for admission to all the full-time MBA programs.

Ques. What scholarships are provided at NMIMS ?

Ans. In NMIMS , Central Sector scheme of  scholarship for college and university students is provided . Under this, scholarships are provided to economically weaker sections from general , SC ,ST and physically handicapped students. The rate of scholarships are 1000 per month for 1st 3 year of college and university courses and 2000 for post graduation level. Scholarships can be renewed also by filling an application form .

Ques. Can a person reschedule his /her interview at NMIMS ?

Ans. Yes , a person can reschedule his/her interview . Students can request for a new slot by raising a request to the University email id – ngasce@nmims.edu once without any charges. From the second time onwards , candidates will have to pay 1000/- for changing the slot for the same. Students can change the payment slot not more than two times.

Ques. Are there any reservations at NMIMS ?

Ans. Yes, NMIMS provides for 2 types of reservations .Reservations for female candidates and for widows/ wards of armed forces personnel killed/disabled in war/action or for Kashmiri migrants are there at NMIMS . Reservations on the basis of cate is not available.
