Amity University Admission

Colleges and universities adopt two methods of enrolling students. They prefer one option either merit-based selection or entrance exams.

Merit-based selection process

• Select the college in which you would like to take admission.
• When the application forms are released, fill out the application form.
• The application form includes all the personal details of a candidate.
• Upload the documents after filing the application form.
• The documents that are required during the admission are passport size photograph, class 10th and 12th mark sheet, scanned signature, SCT, ST, OBC certificate if any.
• Fill out the application payment on the official website. You can submit the fee by various modes of digital money like debit or credit card, net banking, etc.

Entrance exam

• Select the college in which you would like to take admission.
• When the application forms are released, fill out the application form.
• The application form includes all the personal details of a candidate.
• Admit cards will be released by the colleges and universities on their websites. Download the admit card.
• Appear for the entrance exam at the examination center.
• Take counselling after the examination and wait for the allocation of seats.
• Upload the documents if you got a seat in the college or university.
• The documents that are required during the admission are passport size photograph, class 10th and 12th mark sheet, scanned signature, SCT, ST, OBC certificate if any.
• Fill the application payment on the official website. You can submit the fee by various modes of digital money like debit or credit card, net banking, etc.

Note: the application fee for General/ OBC students is INR 600 and with a late fee of INR 1,500. Also, for SC and ST students INR 300 and with a late fee of INR 1,000.

Scholarship-cum-Fast Track Admission

For Program After 12th 

• Fast-track admission without appearing in the selection process. Scholarship in academic fees for the first year of programs to students who have passed class 12th in 2021 or appearing in 2022 from CBSE or ICSE Board.
  • 100% Scholarship to candidates who have obtained at least 99% marks.
  • 50% Scholarship to students who have obtained 98% – 98.99% aggregate.
  • 30% Scholarship to students who will get 96% – 97.99% aggregate.
  • 20% Scholarship to students who have obtained 94% – 95.99% aggregate.

Continuation of Scholarships

Continuation of the scholarship in 2nd or subsequent years will be governed by the scholarship policy.

For B.Tech Courses (Based on JEE Score 2022)

Fast-track admission and scholarship will be offered to the B.Tech students based on their scores in JEE Main 2022. Candidates must have passed class 12th to be eligible for this scholarship.

• Students who will acquire 97-100 percentile in JEE Main exam will get a 100% scholarship.
• Students who will acquire 94-96.9 percentile in JEE Main exam will get a 75% scholarship.
• Students who will acquire 90-93.9 percentile in JEE Main exam will get a 50% scholarship.

For PG Programs

Scholarships to students who will apply for PG programs will be granted after the verification of original documents.

• 100% scholarship will be provided to those who obtain 95 – 100% aggregate in class 12th along with the 80% in graduation. Candidates must have class 12th from CBSE or ICSE Board.
• 50% A scholarship will be provided to those who obtain 90 – 94.9% aggregate in class 12th along with the 75% in graduation. Candidates must have class 12th from CBSE or ICSE Board.
• A 20% scholarship will be provided to those who obtain 90 – 100% aggregate in class 12th along with the 75% in graduation. Candidates must have class 12th from any recognised state board exam.

Ans. Usually, the selection procedure of Amity University consists of an English Language test which is followed by Group Discussion / Extempore / Personal Interview. Program based written test / creative / Physical test is conducted wherever necessary but during 2020, due to COVID 19 pandemic, Selection procedure has been modified.
