The XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test) 2024 is a national-level entrance exam for admission to various postgraduate management programs offered by the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) and other participating institutes. The exam will be conducted by the Xavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur in online mode across 72 cities in India. The exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 will be common for all candidates and will test their general aptitude, reasoning, and language skills. Paper 2 will be subject-specific and will test their knowledge and skills in the chosen discipline. The duration of each paper will be 90 minutes and the total marks will be 200.

The XAT 2024 admit card, which is a mandatory document that the candidates need to carry to the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof, will be released on December 27, 2023. The candidates who have successfully registered for the XAT 2024 will be able to download their admit cards from the official website or portal of the XAT, which is xatonline.in.

Here are some important guidelines for the XAT exam day:

• Reporting Time: Be at the exam center at least one hour before the exam starts. The reporting time is on your admit card.
• Admit Card: Bring a printed copy of your XAT 2024 admit card downloaded from the official website. Attach a passport-sized photo just like the one you used for your application.
• Identification: Carry one ID proof from options like Passport, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, College ID, or Employee ID along with the admit card.
• Writing Tool: Even though it’s a computer-based test, bring a blue/black ballpoint pen for signing in and rough work.
• Prohibited Items: Leave electronic devices like phones, calculators, watches, iPads, etc., at home. Bringing these will lead to disqualification.
• COVID-19 Safety: Because of COVID-19, follow the safety rules set by the exam authority. This might mean wearing masks, keeping a safe distance from others, and following other safety instructions.
