NEET Results LIVE: NEET UG 2024 Results Released; 67 Students Secure Rank 1, Increase in Cut Off Marks
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate or NEET UG 2024 result
today, June 4. It was initially scheduled to be declared on June 14.
The medical entrance exam results are available on the NTA’s
official website.
The NEET UG 2024 was held on May 5 which saw the participation of
over 24 lakh applicants.
As many as 67 students have secured All India Rank 1 this time by
scoring 720/720.
Its answer key was issued on May 29, and medical applicants were allowed until
May 31 to file objections to the provisional NEET 2024 answer key.
The cut-off is calculated based on the difficulty level of the NEET question paper,
the total number of available seats, and the total number of candidates appearing for
the examination.
The NEET UG 2023 rank 1 was been bagged by two UG medical aspirants. Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakravarthi from Andhra Pradesh were the NEET result 2023 toppers. They scored 720 marks. Among the states, Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of qualifying candidates with 1.39 lakh candidates followed by Maharashtra with 1.31 lakh and Rajasthan also with more than 1 lakh.
