On June 30, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the results and rankings for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) re-exam 2024. For 1,563 applicants who received grace marks for the May 5, 2024, exam, a retest of the NEET 2024 was held on June 23, 2024. Only 813 applicants, however, showed up for the retest, and 750 students chose not to take the NEET reexam in 2024. The NTA has released the updated NEET results for all 1,563 applicants as of 2024.

Seven exam centers—Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Meghalaya, and Chandigarh, a Union Territory—hosted the NEET 2024 retest. From 2:00 pm to 5:20 pm, the NEET 2024 re-exam was administered. The initial scores obtained prior to the inclusion of grace marks must be accepted by candidates who did not show up for the NEET 2024 re-exam.
