August 11 is the new date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024, which was originally scheduled for earlier this month. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) announced on its official website that there would be two shifts for the test. The updated date for the NEET PG medical entrance exam is now available to all applicants on the natboard.edu.in website.

The NEET PG 2024 test has been postponed in continuation of the NBEMS notification dated 22.06.2024, according to the official release from NBEMS. The NEET-PG 2024 will now take place in two shifts on August 11, 2024. The announcement said that August 15, 2024, will continue to be the deadline for eligibility to appear in the NEET PG 2024.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) postponed NEET PG 2024 from its initial June 23 date as a precaution. It said that an investigation would be conducted on the dependability of the technologies used to administer the NEET-PG entrance test. The NEET-PG testing procedures for medical students, which are being handled by the NBEMS and its technology partner TCS, would be thoroughly examined, as the health ministry has earlier declared.
