NEET UG counselling 2024 dates announced, registration likely from August 14: MCC
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG 2024) counseling date for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other UG medical degrees has been notified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). It is anticipated that on August 14, 2024, MCC NEET UG counseling registration for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) would open. Candidates who meet the requirements based on the updated merit list and final NEET UG results 2024 must apply online at mcc.nic.in.
This notice informs you that the NEET UG Counseling for the 2024 academic year is anticipated to start, if not earlier than August 14, 2024. On the other hand, the first week of August might be when the counseling registration procedure opens. In an official announcement, MCC stated, "Candidates are encouraged to visit the MCC website for updates on the schedule and ongoing counseling process."
The MCC would provide admission to 15% of AIQ seats in state seats, 100% of MBBS, BDS seats in BHU Open, 100% of MBBS seats in AIIMS throughout India, JIPMER Open (Puducherry/Karaikal), and participation institutes through the NEET counselling 2024. Four rounds of MCC counseling—including a spot round—will be held in total. Candidates wishing to register on the MCC portal for NEET counseling must provide a working email address and mobile number that they provided in the NTA online application form. In order to register, they must also download the Sandes app on your registered phone number for the OTP.
Candidates are recommended to check the availability of seats in the medical colleges of their choice before making their selections. In addition, choosing locking, paying fees, and uploading papers are all part of the registration process. Selected candidates will need to verify the admission offer, submit the required money, and show up at the designated college following the announcement of the round 1 seat allocation results.
