The Tamil Nadu Health Department has released the tentative schedule for the Mop-Up Round of NEET counselling for the academic year 2023-2024. The schedule is as follows:

• Choice filling and locking: September 11, 2023 12:01 PM to September 14, 2023 05:00 PM
• Seat allotment: September 15-16, 2023
• Result: September 17, 2023
• Downloading of provisional allotment order: September 18-21, 2023 05:00 PM
• Reporting to the allotted college: September 22, 2023 03:00 PM

The Mop-Up Round is a chance for the candidates who could not get a seat in the earlier rounds to participate in the counselling process. The seats that are available in the Mop-Up Round are the unfilled seats from the earlier rounds. The candidates who want to participate in the Mop-Up Round have to fill the choice form and lock it by the due date. The seat allotment will be done based on the merit of the candidates and the availability of seats. The result of the Mop-Up Round will be released on September 17, 2023. The candidates who have been allotted a seat in the Mop-Up Round have to download the provisional allotment order and report to the allotted college by September 22, 2023. The complete Mop-Up Round counselling process will be conducted online.
