KEA to conduct second stray vacancy round for pending medical seats
The Karnataka Examinations Authority ( KEA ) is planning to conduct a second stray vacancy round for undergraduate medical seats in the state. This is in response to the demand from medical seat aspirants, who have been pointing out that there are still a number of vacant seats in various medical colleges in Karnataka.
The KEA has already written to the Union government for permission to conduct the second stray vacancy round. If the permission is granted, the KEA is expected to release the notification for the second stray vacancy round soon.
The second stray vacancy round is likely to be conducted for a limited number of seats and will be open to eligible candidates who have not been allotted a seat in any of the previous rounds of seat allotment.
To be eligible for the second stray vacancy round, candidates must have registered for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2023 and must have a valid NEET score. Candidates must also have met the eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate medical courses in Karnataka.
The KEA will release a list of vacant seats for the second stray vacancy round on its official website. Candidates can then fill in their choices for the vacant seats and submit the form online. The KEA will then allot seats to candidates based on their merit and choices.
Candidates who are interested in participating in the second stray vacancy round for undergraduate medical seats in Karnataka should keep an eye on the KEA website for the latest updates.
